1. Diploma Policy

The Department of Physical Therapy awards a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy to students who have acquired the required credits in accordance with the course regulations, completed the required number of years of study, and are deemed to have acquired the following abilities.

• Acquire basic professional knowledge and skills to perform physical therapy. (Knowledge and Skills)
• Have the ability to keep up with advances in physical therapy and rehabilitation medicine. (Knowledge and Skills)
• Students have acquired the ability to logically explore issues in physical therapy (thinking, judgment, expression).
• Able to act independently as a physical therapist while taking into consideration the client (interest, motivation, attitude).
• Able to understand the roles of other medical professions and build cooperative relationships (Interest, Motivation, Attitude)
• They have a desire to broaden their knowledge and a sense of mission to contribute to the development of physical therapy. (Interest, motivation, attitude)
• Acquire communication skills in clinical settings and research as a physical therapist (thinking, judgment, expression).

2. Curriculum Policy

The Department of Physical Therapy has organized an educational curriculum that systematically arranges liberal arts subjects, specialized foundation subjects, and specialized subjects in order to cultivate the knowledge and skills necessary for physical therapists.
You will be eligible to take the national physical therapist examination.

1. Education content

   • The specialized foundational subjects that form the basis for acquiring the knowledge and skills of physical therapists include the following subjects: "Structure and function of the human body, and physical and mental development," "The origins of disease and disability, and promotion of the recovery process," and "Principles of health, medical care, welfare, and rehabilitation."
   • The following subjects are offered as specialized subjects to enhance expertise as a physical therapist: "Basic Physical Therapy," "Physical Therapy Evaluation," "Physical Therapy Treatment," "Community Physical Therapy," "Physical Therapy Treatment," and "Basic Physical Therapy."

   • In order to develop the ability to explore issues in the field of physical therapy, a group of subjects (Physical Therapy Research Methods, Physical Therapy Research Seminar) will be offered that will lead to fourth-year research (Physical Therapy Research I, II).
   • A group of "clinical training" subjects are provided to cultivate practical skills and communication abilities in clinical situations.

   • In order to train personnel who can work appropriately with other medical professions, we offer subjects such as an introduction to team medicine and "clinical training."
   • The course includes subjects such as "Career Vision," "Physical Therapy Research Methods," "Physical Therapy Research Seminar," and "Physical Therapy Research I and II" that foster a sense of awareness and a desire to broaden one's knowledge and contribute to the development of physical therapy. 2. Education method
   • The courses aimed at imparting the ability to understand cutting-edge research results, the ability to identify problems, and the ability to solve logical problems are delivered in small-group seminar format to teach the fundamentals of research.
3. educational evaluation
   • Depending on the characteristics of the subject, the degree of acquisition of a wide range of knowledge will be objectively evaluated through exams, reports, deliverables, etc.
