No blueprints exist for the Sagrada Familia, a huge cathedral in Barcelona, Spain (a World Heritage Site) designed by architect Antonio Gaudi.
Mr. Tanaka visited this church while he was a university student and became fascinated by Gaudi's architecture. It took him about 30 years to complete the measurements and architectural drawings of the church.
He is currently active as a world-renowned researcher of Gaudi's architecture.

In 2022, our university will continue to offer "special open lectures" on an irregular basis in addition to our regular open lectures.
The first lecture was held on Sunday, April 1th, and featured Ms. Yuri Ichihashi, a representative for Japan in the women's marathon at the Sydney Olympics, as the lecturer.
