Aim to become a core coordinator!

Learning about regional revitalization through practical studiesIn addition to fieldwork, the program is characterized by the wide range of subjects studied, including education, sociology, and business administration. Based on comprehensive partnership agreements with over 80 local governments and companies, the program offers practical learning through research and internships both in and outside of Hokkaido. Through practical learning, students hone their analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve problems and issues in the region.
Plenty of opportunities to learn while interacting with othersSmall-group seminar-style lectures are held on campus from the first year, solidifying the foundations of learning while honing the planning, practical and communication skills required for local activities. In addition, numerous opportunities are provided for collaboration with a variety of people outside the campus, including fieldwork, to strengthen the communication and coordination skills that support the promotion of projects.
There are many career options available, including public service, private companies, and various organizations.Many people imagine future careers as national or local government officials involved in urban development or education and cultural projects that take into account the characteristics of the region.
