Nurturing nurses who have the ability to think scientifically and creatively, and who have a rich humanity, and who can play a professional role in interprofessional collaboration

Based on the idea that the subject of nursing is "people," our university uses communication skills as a foundation to understand the pain and suffering of physically and mentally ill patients, the elderly, and people with disabilities, and to support them. We place importance on nurturing a rich humanity that is capable of self-awareness.
In addition, students will have problem-solving skills based on scientific and creative thinking skills and an inquisitive mind toward nursing, and will acquire the ability to perform their nursing role within a team while collaborating with multiple professions. Furthermore, by taking advantage of the fact that we have a faculty of international studies, students will acquire the qualities necessary to cope with globalization through a variety of foreign languages ​​such as English and Chinese, as well as subjects related to international nursing.

  • The basics of compassionate nursing careStudents will learn the basic knowledge and skills of nursing. In the exercises, students will deepen their understanding of the feelings of patients and develop their mentality as nurses.
  • Nursing practice skills tailored to the individual needs of each patientStudents will gain deeper knowledge about nursing for people in various situations, including maternal nursing, pediatric nursing, adult nursing, and geriatric nursing.
  • Nursing practice skills to respond to complex situations of patientsStudents will learn about nursing practices according to health conditions at a variety of training facilities, integrating health levels and characteristics of different life stages.
  • Nursing practice skills that allow you to assess the local area from a global perspectiveStudents will acquire a broad perspective and the ability to grasp the essence of the problems their patients face, and develop the ability to provide nursing care suited to a variety of living situations.
