Learning a foreign language is all about daily practiceIt is natural to learn a foreign language in a foreign language, such as in an all-English class. However, we provide efficient foreign language learning by explaining grammar points in Japanese. Our department offers classes that build up the ability to communicate in a foreign language.
Even though we think we understand each other, we don't really understand each other.It is only when relationships start to go wrong that we say, "My communication is not good" or "I need to communicate smoothly." So what kind of communication is necessary for global talent and basic social skills? In the Department of International Communication, we start by learning the basic theory of communication.
To work with a diverse range of peopleWe belong to various groups, such as family, school, clubs, local communities, and even countries. Each group has its own cultural standards. Our own culture is not "best," and there is no superiority or inferiority among cultures. Everyone is different, and everyone is good. While recognizing this, we aim to improve our ability to adapt to different cultures in order to grow as individuals.
