We hope that our students will become educators and childcare workers who are full of love for children and have a broad perspective. In order to have a broad perspective, it is necessary to take an interest in education not only in schools but also in the wider community and welfare fields, as well as sports and the arts. Moreover, as experts in education and childcare, it is important for us to acquire a love for children and a rich heart in order to deepen our knowledge and improve our abilities based on the latest knowledge. Hokkaido Bunkyo University welcomes those who wish to acquire a broad perspective and deep humanity.

Three points of "Koha"
- Triple license qualificationIt is possible to obtain a combination of up to three licenses and qualifications from the four available: "Childcare worker qualification," "First-class kindergarten teacher license," "First-class elementary school teacher license," and "First-class special needs school teacher license."
*However, you cannot select the combination of "childcare worker," "elementary school teacher," and "special support."
- New courses to meet diverse needsIn addition to the existing courses for training nursery teachers, kindergarten teachers, elementary school teachers, and special needs school teachers, we will set up three new courses: a course for those involved in education and childcare in the local community or welfare field, and a course for those aiming to become educators or childcare workers who have expertise in sports or the arts. Regardless of which course you choose, you can obtain the three licenses and qualifications.
- Extensive extracurricular activitiesThe center offers a wide range of activities, including assistant teaching (supporting classes at elementary schools), "Challenged Classrooms" (working with children with disabilities), "Arukube" (active learning education study groups), "Expression Skills Improvement Courses" (learning and sharing expression from local artists), collaboration with the Eniwa City Board of Education, and preparation courses for teacher (civil servant) exams. It also has a wide range of activities that involve working with children, community activities, and even preparation courses for teacher recruitment exams.
