A physical therapist is a specialist who supports the recovery and maintenance of motor functions that have been impaired due to illness, injury, or disability. At our university, we use our fully equipped facilities to learn a wide range of knowledge and highly specialized knowledge and techniques, and train physical therapists who can be close to the hearts of people. To date, more than 1,000 physical therapists have been active in the fields of preventive medicine, sports, and health promotion, as well as hospitals and facilities.

The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences aims to develop medical personnel for a new era who can flexibly respond to such changes.
The three fields of nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy collaborate to strengthen the practical ability of team medical care to treat a variety of diseases.

Based on the idea that the subject of nursing is "people," our university uses communication skills as a foundation to understand the pain and suffering of physically and mentally ill patients, the elderly, and people with disabilities, and to support them. We place importance on nurturing a rich humanity that is capable of self-awareness.
In addition, students will have problem-solving skills based on scientific and creative thinking skills and an inquisitive mind toward nursing, and will acquire the ability to perform their nursing role within a team while collaborating with multiple professions.
